Parent Liaison

ParentLiaisonStephani Ferrufino, Parent Liaison
What is a parent liaison?
A parent liaison is a school staff member who helps parents and families connect with their child's school and get the information and support they need. Their main role is to build bridges between the school and the home to ensure the child's success.
Ways I can I help :
  • I can help parents navigate the school system by providing information about the school , and help parents understand what they can do to get involved.
  • I can help parents communicate with the school, arrange meetings between parents and school staff and accompany parents to parent conferences or other important meetings.
  • I can help parents advocate for their children, and help them understand their child's interests and need.
  • I can help parents resolve issues, listen to parents' concerns and work with them to resolve any issues that may be hindering their child's success.
