 Our School Gardens

Our school garden provides hands-on learning for our students. Each grade level maintains a garden box, where they can observe plant growth as well as local creatures, from insects to blue tailed skinks. Students witness first-hand plant life cycles and changing seasons.
Our school garden also serves as a place to gather for learning opportunities.
Throughout the year, our Garden Club cares for our school garden. Mrs. Wolf also organizes volunteers to weed and water over school breaks.
Coles has been awarded 9 Virginia Naturally Awards, and has just applied for our 10th!
