Things to do at Home!
*Practice rhyming words.
*We have been practicing beginning, middle and ending sounds. Have your child make 3 lines - - -. Give him/her a 3 letter word to sound out. (Ex. Hat, met, run, tip, fun)
*Visit the District to see the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial.
*Observe the weather and what is happening to water (snow-solid, water-liquid and water as a gas when some of the snow melts and evaporates.)
*Read books and read the signs on the road, in stores and on food containers.
